Masked men smash windows at North Belfast home

Police are investigating after a house in North Belfast was attacked by masked men on Tuesday night.

Windows were smashed at the house in Garton Way in White City at around 9.30pm as men tried to enter.

PSNI Sergeant Davy Adams said: "It was reported that at around 9.30pm that a number of masked men attempted to gain entry into the property by kicking the door.

"A number of windows were smashed and the front door was damaged. The female occupant raised the alarm and was left shaken by the incident.

"Enquiries are continuing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area to contact Police on 101, quoting reference number 1294 of 16/04/19.

"Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime."
