Nottinghamshire Police say that two masked men have entered a Bestwood off licence and threatened staff at knifepoint before taking cigarettes from the store.
The force is appealing for any witnesses to the incident which took place at around 3.15pm on Saturday, December 14, at the Capenwray off licence in Capenwray Gardens, Bestwood.
Police believe that it may be linked to another robbery in Sherwood on the same evening.
Detective Sergeant Andrew Pym, of Nottinghamshire Police said: "Our officers are committed to ensuring that people are able to live and work safely in our county.
"This incident happened in the afternoon and I am hopeful that someone may have seen something that could help us catch those responsible.
