Masked men armed with knives grab customer by the neck in Leeds off licence robbery

Masked men armed with knives raided an off licence in Leeds on Saturday night.

The three men stormed into Harehills Mini-Mart, in Harehills Lane, shortly after 9pm on Saturday, November 2.

CCTV footage seen by LeedsLive appears to show the men grab a customer round the neck and throw him to the ground before pulling out a large knife.

They stole cash, cigarettes and bottles of spirits before running from the shop.

West Yorkshire Police has launched an investigation and officers are appealing for witnesses and information.

A police spokesman said: "Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact Leeds District CID via 101 quoting crime reference 13190563968 or call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
