King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's project for clearing mines in Yemen (MASAM) dismantled 1,157 mines during the second week of August 2020.

This included clearing 37 antipersonnel mines, 286 anti-tank mines, 790 unexploded ordnance and 44 explosive devices.

Since the beginning of the project, as many as 179,698 mines planted by the Houthi militias have been dismantled.

The project is a continuation of the efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to clear the Yemeni lands of mines and unexploded ordnance.
