The man who murdered Melbourne schoolgirl Masa Vukotic has also admitted raping another woman two days later.

Sean Christian Price murdered Vukotic, 17, in a random attack in Doncaster in March and then went on a crime rampage that ended with the rape of another woman in a Christian bookshop in Sunshine.

Price, 31, faced the Victorian supreme court in Thursday where he entered guilty pleas to four charges including the murder of Vukotic on 17 March and the rape of another woman on 19 March.

In the Melbourne magistrates court last week, Price admitted to killing Vukotic, but denied he had raped another woman. On Thursday he pleaded guilty to the rape.

The prosecutor, Michele Williams, accepted guilty pleas to four charges, which included robbing a man of his mobile phone and the attempted theft of a BMW.

Price was acquitted of two further charges of recklessly causing injury and intentionally causing injury after Williams said those charges would not be pursued in the light of the guilty plea on other charges.

A postmortem examination revealed that Vukotic was stabbed 49 times in the frenzied attack.

Price will return to court on 14 December.
