Interest is expected to be strong for a Maryville home that is affectionately known as "Brennan House".
Steve Dorman, of Dowling Property Group Hamilton, is marketing the updated three-bedroom, two-bathroom house at 3 Hall Street. It has been in the same family since 1962 and Mr Dorman says presents the opportunity to buy into an inner city suburb that is part of an area he describes as "a bit of a hot spot".
"That whole area is just the flavour of the month," Mr Dorman said. "It has easy access to Throsby Waters and its cycleway and is walking distance to Tighes Hill Public School. The last couple of homes meant to go to auction in Maryville sold beforehand. It's a very sought-after area at the moment and there's going to be a lot of interest."
The home is positioned on a level block 416 square metres in size with off-street parking. It is set for auction on August 1 and open for inspection Saturday at 12.30pm. A price guide has not been disclosed.
