Mary Street Penneys unveils creative version of 'Do They Know It's Christmas?' for charity

A Dublin Penneys has gotten into the festive spirit by releasing a creative new version of Band Aid's iconic 'Do They Know it's Christmas?' for a great cause.

The Mary Street store is raising money for Jigsaw, a charity for young people's mental health and they released a music video on YouTube of the song.

Staff members sang different parts, changing the lyrics to fit their charity message.

The crew were dressed in Christmas jumpers and some clips from the video were shot on the shop floor.

On their fundraiser page, Penneys Mary Street said: "No one is alone, Mental Health is for everyone and help is all around, so please share this song with someone who needs to hear it.

"This is a great way to show your support too. So please, "Share the word, let them know Jigsaw is here."

They have raised over €1,500 for the charity so far.
