It has been an exceptional year for Bristol sport. Bristol Rovers were promoted to League One, Bristol City stayed in the Championship and Bristol rugby were promoted to the Premiership. The interview with Bristol’s new mayor, Marvin Rees (G2, 23 May), reveals his commitment to finding a solution to housing and prosperity for all parts of the city. Yet the interview fails to provide an answer to the most important question: does Mr Rees support City or Rovers?
