Marvin Lewis didn’t say much when asked about Bengals’ playoff struggles

Former Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis doesn’t like talking about the NFL much.

Recently, Lewis hit an interview and admitted he wouldn’t be watching much of the Bengals. He’s focused on his new job with Arizona State and that’s the main takeaway compared to some of the outlandish reactions to him saying that.

But Lewis did get asked by Zach Gelb of CBS Sports Radio why the Bengals struggled in the playoffs during his tenure and he really kept it simple: “The other team ended up with more points.”

Fair enough.

Lewis went 0-7 with the Bengals in the playoffs over 16 years as head coach. He’s clearly excited for his new gig and wants to focus on that, though questions about the Bengals are unavoidable.

With this one, it simply didn’t hurt to hear a little bit of that Marvin Lewis charm one more time.
