Marvin Humes 'so proud' as JLS raise a toast and tease brand new music

JLS have signed a brand new record deal as they ramp up to their grand come back.

The boys - Marvin Humes, Oritse Williams, Aston Merrygold and JB Gill - went their separate ways in 2013, but are making a bombshell return later this year.

They've already teased their Beat Again for October and November - but have now revealed fans will get to here some fresh tracks as well.

Marvin shared the news on Instagram, screenshotting a Zoom call with the others raising drinks to the camera.

"So pleased to announce that my brothers and I have signed a new record deal with @bmguk can't wait for you to hear the new music we've been working on!" he wrote.

"On the tour you'll be getting all the hits plus some new."

Oritise was quick to reply, commenting: "Let's gooooooo my brothaaaa!"

The boys were forced to postpone their comeback tour from March last year because of the pandemic.

"We were absolutely devastated," Marvin told The Sun, "We were riding such a massive high this time last year when we announced the comeback, and we did a couple of performances.

"We were on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway and that was the last live TV show that was screened around that time."

But the publication reported that now they're back and penning new tracks, they've got high hopes and collaboration dreams - including Ed Sheeran.

JLS became household name in 2008 during that year's series of The X Factor.

They wowed the judges and made it to the finals, coming second to Alexandra Burke.

They're one of the show's biggest success stories, and it's most successful self-made band, racking up five No 1 singles and sold over six million records before their split in 2013.
