Marvin Humes celebrated as his JLS bandmate Oritse Williams was cleared by a jury of raping a woman at a hotel.
The singer said his friend's "three years of hell" was finally over as he praised the way he's conducted himself throughout the trial.
Today, a jury cleared Oritse of the charges at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
Jurors also found his tour manager Jamien Nagadhana not guilty of charges of sexual assault and assault by penetration.
The verdicts came after an eight-day trial.
Marvin was thrilled.
Sharing a picture of his bandmate, who he appeared on X Factor with in 2008, he said: "Cleared..Not Guilty! Finally my brother @oritsemusic three years of hell is over! No-one will ever know or imagine what he’s been through..I’m just so proud of the way he conducted himself during what has been the most awful time..he is so strong and I know he can’t wait to start his life again now..We love you O"
Marvin's wife Rochelle also posted about the verdict.
Sharing a picture of herself and Oritse, she said: "This here is our brother, one of the kindest, most gentle, thoughtful men I know. Today he was cleared NOT guilty after 3 years of absolute hell. I’m so proud of how you have conducted yourself throughout this time, I really don’t think I could have held myself in the same way. Reesh we love you so much and I’m writing this crying so many happy tears, it’s over"
The other members of the band, JB Gill and Aston Merrygold, have not posted on their social media accounts so far.
Williams, 32, from Croydon, south London, denied raping the woman in a hotel room following a solo concert in December 2015.
Nagadhana, also 32 and from Hounslow, west London, told jurors last Tuesday that he touched the woman briefly as he tried to initiate a threesome at their hotel room.
Prosecutors claim Williams raped the “zombified” fan after she watched him perform his new single in a Wolverhampton nightclub.
Nagadhana, 32, denied sexually assaulting the woman, who is in her 20s, during the same incident.
The court heard the group spent time in the VIP area of Gorgeous nightclub before going back to the Ramada Park Hall Hotel.
The jury deliberated for two hours and 17 minutes before reaching its unanimous verdicts.
Mr Williams showed little reaction as the verdicts were returned but clasped his hands together, smiled and said "thank you" towards Judge Michael Challinor QC after being told he could leave the dock.
The singer also shook hands with the dock officer after he was cleared.
Mr Nagadhana hugged two women sitting in the public gallery as he left court, after also thanking the judge.
