Marvin Compper's Celtic stint hits new low as Ryan Christie left stunned by bold as brass German

Marvin Compper has often appeared to be in the completely wrong movie since he joined Celtic .

The German flop has been an unmitigated disaster during his 18 months in Glasgow having played just once since his ill-fated transfer from RB Leipzig.

Brendan Rodgers quickly realised he'd been sold a dud and the 32-year-old hasn't played since his debut against Morton.

But it's hard to completely pillar a man who is seems completely unfazed by his laughing stock reputation.

Whether it's showing up the club's Player of the Year awards dressed in an all-beige number or his latest antics during Sunday's trophy party.

Most players who haven't kicked a ball for the first team in 15 months would be rather sheepish about putting themselves front and centre or the action, but not Compper .

The former German international looked delighted as he posed with the Premiership trophy and one supporter on Twitter @DarrenBonoPark shared Ryan Christie's incredible facial expression during the title party.

The Hoops star looked as if he'd spotted a ghost as the defender proudly lifted aloft the trophy.

Compper still has one year remaining on his Parkhead deal but could potentially depart if he comes to an arrangement with the club.
