'Marvel's Wolverine' Gameplay Reveal
Alongside the details regarding the preorders and Digital Deluxe Edition, Insomniac Games also released the new extended gameplay trailer of "Marvel's Wolverine" during the State of Play event.
The trailer shows Logan tracking a group of mutants that are being hunted and captured by the cybernetic mercenaries, Reavers, who are working for Dr. Bolivar Trask, a well-known X-Men comic villain.
One of the biggest surprises in the trailer is none other than Logan's fellow X-Men member, Jean Grey, who was introduced here as the leader of the captured mutants.
Logan and Jean Grey team up to save the mutants from harm, and here, Insomniac shows off the fast, fluid, and violence-filled gameplay of "Marvel's Wolverine." Logan can use special combat moves, which the game calls "Techniques," and he will get support from Jean Grey's telekinetic abilities.
Players also get to fill in Logan's "Rage" power, which helps deliver stronger blows or activate his Healing Factor. That said, players may keep on building up their Rage to Tier 3 in order to unleash a massive succession of furious attacks, which Insomniac said is inspired by Marvel Comics' "Black, White, and Blood" series.
