Marvel Rivals Season 8: Sins Of Alchemax is officially coming out tomorrow, and the developers have already given a detailed look at all the upcoming events, hero cosmetics, and content updates that are coming to the game until the half-season, which welcomes the Cyclops as a playable hero later.
While the Marvel Rivals update also introduces a new hero, Devil Dinosaur, on May 15, the roadmap heavily focuses on fresh limited-time events, themed costumes, and the Alchemax Headquarters map.
New Alchemax Headquarters map arrives in Season 8
One of the biggest additions in the roadmap is the launch of the Alchemax Headquarters map on May 29. The map joins the growing list of maps in Marvel Rivals and is expected to arrive alongside new cosmetics. Based on the roadmap artwork, the battleground features the towering Alchemax building along with a sci-fi city aesthetic.
Season 8 is packed with rotating events and limited-time activities scheduled throughout May and June. The first major event after the update is the Devil Dino Hide and Seek event, which comes on May 15. Shortly after that, players can participate in Savage Adventures, launching on May 22. The roadmap also teases additional content drops and community-focused activities spread across the season, continuing Marvel Rivals’ strategy of frequent live-service updates.
New battlepass, skins and costumes coming in Season 8
Several new cosmetics and costume bundles were showcased throughout the Season 8 roadmap. These upcoming skins include:
- Devil Dinosaur (Chrono-Armor Dash), Deadpool (King of Monster) and Hulk (Infinity Hulk): May 15.
- ESU-College life costume for Peni Parker and Daredevil (Shadowed Start): May 22.
- Black Cat (Formula R) and Wolverine (Corporate Raiders): May 29.
- Iron Man (Iron Samurai) and Mantis (ESU College Life): June 5.
- Additional seasonal accessories and bundles.
The roadmap also confirms more costume releases arriving gradually rather than all at once, meaning players can expect weekly or biweekly cosmetic refreshes during the season.
The roadmap also gives a fresh battle pass refresh alongside the Season 8 update with the theme Project Heroic Age. Players can likely expect new sprays, MVP animations, emotes, and premium cosmetic rewards tied to the season’s inspired themes.
With a new map, multiple limited-time events, and a steady flow of cosmetics planned through June, Season 8 looks set to keep Marvel Rivals players busy well into the midseason update.
