Marvel Rivals revealed the new PvE mode coming to the game during Season 7.5, called Blood Hunt. It also marks the next chapter of Marvel Rivals PvE, setting the stage for 2026 and beyond.
Among the multiple new additions coming to Marvel Rivals in Season 7.5, the Dev Vision video on April 14 announced the Blood Hunt mode. Blood Hunt is a new PvE mode teased by NetEase Games back at the beginning of the year, and seemingly builds on the Zombies experience. Blood Hunt features four new boss battles, a fresh hero progression and trait system, and a brand-new loot system.
The story of the mode ties with the events of Season 7, where Spider-Man freed heroes from the Kingpin’s vault. However, this also helped Dracula escape, who snatched the Nord Stone from the Kingpin’s collection. The series of events results in a new Vampire crisis and a PvE experience for you to play.
The developer added that this is the next chapter of Marvel Rivals PvE. We don’t know exactly what the plans for PvE are, but in a recent interview with FRVR, the creative director said the game will be expanding significantly through both PvE and Path to Doomsday tie-ins with the MCU.

In regards to Path to Doomsday, April 30 marks the first phase of the roadmap, featuring the movie The Avengers. The event introduces an asymmetrical mode where Loki faces off against the original Avengers: Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Hulk. Times Square will also feature a series of events related to the movie.
The Blood Hunt mode is coming to Marvel Rivals on April 23. It’s a little later than Season 7.5, which launches on April 17. Alongside the PvE mode, April 23 will also mark the beginning of the 2026 Hellfire Gala, offering new cosmetics, including a free skin for Emma Frost.
