Marvel Rivals College Perks: How to get free costumes and MVPs

If you’re a student and Marvel Rivals champion at the same time, NetEase has got a bunch of free costumes for you to grab on trial as part of its College Perks program.

First introduced with season three, the Marvel Rivals College Perks program lets players rent 10 select costumes for free throughout a seasonal time frame. It has now returned with season four, bringing a fresh set of skins that can be claimed and used till the end of season 4.5. Registering for this program is easy, but it requires some crucial steps, which some of you may find confusing.

If you’re wondering how to claim hero skins for free as part of Marvel Rivals’ College Perks program, this guide has everything you need to know. 

How to register for Marvel Rivals College Perks and get free skins

You need an academic email address to be eligible for the College Perks event. You can check out the official list of qualified domains to know if you can participate.

Once you confirm your eligibility for Marvel Rivals College Perks, you can register by following these steps:

1. Launch the game, and go to the Settings page.
2. Open the Community tab and then select College Perks.
3. Select Details and then enter an eligible academic email address.
4. Next, select Get Verification Code and wait for the code. If you don’t receive it in your inbox, make sure to check in the spam folder. 
5. Enter the code in the designated box and hit Verify.

Once verified, you’ll instantly gain access to all 10 costumes included with the program. Note that if you verified your email address for College Perks in season three, you need to do it again for season four to be eligible for the new set of rewards.

These costumes come unlocked with their MVP animations. After verification, go to the costume tab of an eligible hero to equip their free costume. You can equip and use these skins till the end of season four, which is expected to conclude in December.
