So you’re watching the Loki trailer and trying to soak up what should be a dizzying TV series with time travel, mischief and general Owen Wilson silliness, and then … bang.

There’s a still shot of Loki, sitting with a white-blonde-haired character near a lake with purple lighting. The thing is, you can’t see the face of the person that is with Loki. The shot is so quick that you might have missed it. But maybe you’re thinking what I’m thinking — along with many Marvel fans. Maybe that teased a scene where Loki will see Natasha Romanoff (aka Black Widow) on Vormir, the planet where she died to ensure The Avengers recovered the Soul Stone in Endgame.

So, what do you think?
Marvel could develop a scene where Loki travels through time (or space?) and finds himself in contact with Black Widow. Or the trailer is misleading us, knowing that we’ll fall for a red herring. It’s clearly intentionally ambiguous.
