Avenge the fallen, but also avenge the continuity errors.
Avengers Endgame may be the biggest box office hit of all time, but fans have noticed a key error in the climactic "Avengers Assemble" battle scene against evil villain Thanos (Josh Brolin).
The sequence is already iconic as we see essentially all the heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe gather to put an end to the monstrous titan who decimated half of the universe's population in Avengers: Infinity War.
The decimated heroes all reappear through portals created by the sorcerer supreme himself, Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch).
However, a fan on Instragram has noticed that Doctor Strange had something on him in one shot that he shouldn't have had: the Eye of Agamotto.
This is an error as Strange gave up the Eye to save Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) from Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.
Unless Stephen Strange has been meddling with time travel without telling us, again!
Some fans online speculated as to how exactly in could be in Strange's possession, but another just commented: "It's a fantasy movie, my guy. Stop looking for a 'logical' explanation."
Well, it is probably just a genuine mistake.
Doctor Strange will return in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, where he will be joined by sidecick Wong (Benedict Wong), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), and Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings).
Avengers: Endgame is available on digital now, and on Blu-ray and DVD from September 2, 2019.
