Marv Albert has no idea where the 3-point line is in Bucks-Celtics game and fans are annoyed

Marv Albert is off to a rough start in TNT’s broadcast of the pivotal Bucks-Celtics Game 4 in Boston and it’s been pretty hard to watch.

I’ll preface this by saying that Marv is one of the best to ever call NBA and has masterfully called a huge number of legendary games.

Which makes this kind of stuff, which has been happening for a while now for the great play-by-play guy, all that harder to watch. Because the legendary Marv Albert didn’t make these egregious mistakes.

It didn’t take long for Marv to make two pretty obvious mistakes Monday night. He initially thought two shots by the Bucks were 3-pointers when they clearly weren’t.

Here’s the first one:

He didn’t have his foot on the line. He had it three feet in front of the line.

And then there was this one:

Not great.

Fans weren’t pleased:
