Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift launch today: Check expected price in India, design updates, features, engine and variants

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift, an updated version of one of India’s most popular and highest-selling SUVs, is set to launch in the country today. Positioned in the highly competitive compact SUV segment, the refreshed Brezza will continue to compete with rivals such as the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and Skoda Kylaq.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift expected exterior

The facelifted Brezza is expected to receive minor styling updates, while its overall design language remains largely unchanged from the existing model. The SUV will continue with its upright stance and boxy silhouette, but will get newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels for a refreshed appearance. It will retain familiar elements such as thick body cladding, tall roof rails, and blacked-out A-, B-, and C-pillars that create a floating-roof effect. The updated Brezza may also come with a revised colour palette featuring new shades, adding more appeal to the compact SUV.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift expected interior

The facelifted Brezza continues to feature the upright dashboard layout, three-spoke steering wheel, and a black-and-brown interior theme. However, it receives a few updates, including a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a gloss black finish on the steering wheel insert replacing the current silver trim, and a redesigned climate control panel for a more refreshed cabin experience.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza 2026 Safety Features

Maruti Suzuki has placed a strong focus on safety in the new Brezza 2026, equipping the SUV with a wide range of advanced safety technologies. Standard features include six airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with hill hold assist, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and reverse parking sensors. The updated model also gets additional safety features such as blind spot warning with lane change alert, rear cross-traffic alert, safe exit warning, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), 360-degree camera, rear defogger and wiper, emergency stop signal, and front parking sensors, enhancing overall protection and driving confidence.

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza 2026 will continue with the existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine under the hood. However, the biggest update comes in the transmission setup, as the previous 5-speed manual gearbox has been replaced with a new 6-speed manual transmission. The 6-speed automatic torque converter option will continue to be offered.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza 2026 Variants

The updated Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift will be offered in four variants — LXI, VXI, ZXI, and ZXI+. This variant lineup follows Maruti Suzuki’s existing Arena model structure, giving customers multiple options based on features and budget preferences.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift Expected Price

With the addition of new features, styling updates, and equipment upgrades, the Brezza facelift is expected to come with a higher price tag compared to the current model. For reference, the existing Maruti Suzuki Brezza is priced between Rs 8.26 lakh and Rs 13.01 lakh (ex-showroom).
