Marty Whelan has shared beautiful photos from his daughter’s wedding last month on social media.
The RTE Lyric FM presenter took to Twitter, where he shared some touching photos of the big day. Marty previously told RTE listeners about the wedding, surprising many with the fact that he returned to the airwaves just one day after the celebrations.
Marty shared some impressive snaps, including one of himself and the bride in a bright yellow car after the ceremony. He also posted a touching photo of the happy couple leaving the church as their guests looked on.

He wrote on Twitter: “A magical, memorable and emotional day, Nov 5th, Jessica and Conor’s wedding day. So proud as her Dad to see Jessica marry her true love Conor.”
He continued: “Love, laughter and tears. Here’s to their happiness and one of the greatest days ever.”
Marty has two children with his wife Maria, daughter Jessica and son Thomas. The family all lived under one roof together in their family home in Clontarf- with Jessica only moving out in recent months.
Both children have forged their own successful paths, with Jessica working as a primary school teacher. Thomas previously worked in event management but now is pursuing studies in law.
The proud father also shared a touching snap on social media of the Whelan family gathered outside the church, which he captioned “Our fam.”
