Marty Whelan said he has ‘just about recovering’ as he announced his daughter has got married.
The RTE presenter walked his eldest daughter Jessica, 30, down the aisle in a winter wedding recently.
And the RTE Lyric FM morning presenter joked that he has just about recovered from the big day as he returned to work on the early shift.

The Marty in the Morning host told his listeners: "I am just about recovering, but I will get over it.
"That was the small matter of my daughter getting married, these things happen.
"It was a great aul few days and here we are back and ready for the off.
The popular Eurovision commentator went on to joke: "Have I any energy left? None.”
Speaking ahead of the big day, Marty told Irish Daily Mirror: "We are very excited about it", as he stepped out and got into the wedding spirit with his daughter Jessica and his wife Maria for the glamorous Downton Abbey: A New Era movie premiere this summer.
He also opened up about feeling emotional about the special day, telling RSVP Live: “I am high as a kite thinking about it.
"I can tell you officially that I will be emotional. She is our first born and she is very special. We are a very close family, so I will be in bits."
