Luiz and Aubameyang return, Martinelli in, no Mari: The team Arsenal fans want to see vs Burnley

Arsenal are back in Premier League action this afternoon as they take on Burnley at Turf Moor.

Mikel Arteta's side go into the game looking to maintain their unbeaten start to 2020, and climb up the table.

The Gunners have drew their last three Premier League games, the last being a 2-2 draw with London rivals Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, a game in which 10-man Arsenal came from behind twice to take a point.

Arteta's men have also beaten Manchester United since the turn of the year, and are through to the fifth round of the FA Cup after recording a 2-1 away win over Bournemouth last week.

Mikel Arteta: We need to be ready for a battle

And Arsenal have also been handed a massive boost ahead of the game as they welcome back captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and defender David Luiz for the game in Lancashire, with both returning from suspension.

Both should return to the starting line up, and that is what the fans want to see, according to the results of a vote from supporters on our website.

The transfer window also saw two new players added to the squad, Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares, but will they get their debut in an Arsenal shirt against the Clarets?

We asked you- the fans - to pick who would be in your starting XI at Turf Moor, and Aubameyang and Luiz are both in it.

Luiz is alongside Sokratis at centre-back in the most popular team picked by fans, with Bukayo Saka continuing at left-back and Hector Bellerin at right-back.

There is no place, however, for new signings Pablo Mari or Cedric Soares, with the Portuguese full-back set to miss the game through injury.

In midfield, fans want to see Lucas Torreira and Granit Xhaka continue their partnership, while they have picked Nicolas Pepe, Mesut Ozil and Gabriel Martinelli in a forward three, behind the returning Aubameyang.

As such, there is no place for French striker Alexandre Lacazette in the most popular team picked by supporters.
