Liverpool fans played out their own mini game of bingo while watching the Reds take on Leeds on Sunday afternoon.
Aware that the commentary team for the game on Sky Sports was Martin Tyler and Gary Neville , sections of the fanbase posed a question before kick-off, asking how long it would take for Cristiano Ronaldo to be mentioned during the match.
Though the Portuguese forward has not played for either side, Reds fans felt it was inevitable that the Manchester United player’s name would be heard on the broadcast, after his brace against Newcastle this weekend.
This pre-match theory proved to be correct - with it taking just two minutes to justify Liverpool fans’ concerns.

Martin Tyler was the person responsible, mentioning Ronaldo in association with Virgil Van Dijk.
Timed at two minutes and one second during the game at Elland Road, the commentator said: “Van Dijk, great to see him back, all football lovers will feel that.
“Talk of the quality of the Premier League with Cristiano Ronaldo’s return, Romelu Lukaku’s return.
“Manchester United and Chelsea on ten points already with the assistance of those two. Liverpool want to join them with a win here.”
Tyler’s comments prompted derision from Liverpool fans and he came in for further criticism, after making a connection between Harvey Elliott and recent US Open winner Emma Raducanu.
“I’ve got to fit her in somehow, Emma Raducanu”, Tyler said in the seventh minute.
“18 years old, the same as Harvey Elliott. Forgive me that one. What an achievement in New York.”
