Falkirk have named Martin Rennie as their new head coach.
The League One side has decided to appoint the current assistant boss at Notre Dame Ladies as their new manager.
The new Bairns board has decided to place their faith in the 46-year-old.
It was split between Rennie and former Hamilton boss Brian Rice but the former has got the nod.
Rennie is close to a new Falkirk director and that has swung him the gig.
Rennie has made a name for himself mainly in America and overseas.
The Highlander has had spells at Cascade Surge, Cleveland City Stars, Carolina Railhawks, Vancouver Whitecaps and Indy Eleven.
He has also had a spell at Seoul E-Land in South Korea in career that had led him to many far-reaching locations.
Falkirk have been looking for a boss since they sacked Paul Sheerin earlier this month.
