Martin O'Neill has responded to Tony Bloom's radio comments in the lead-up to Celtic's Scottish Cup final against Dunfermline.
Following the Celtic manager's own appearance on talkSPORT, Hearts investor Bloom was invited onto the station to give his take on last Saturday's events, where he claimed that "one or two" Hearts players were "assaulted.
Now, at a pre-match press conference at the national stadium, O'Neill has responded. "Tony Bloom has made some reflections himself to Jim [White], and he said that two of their players were 'assaulted,'" he said.

"If that's the case, then obviously there would be a deep apology from all of us at Celtic Park, but that has not been proved. If that hasn't been proved, then that's a fairly severe allegation. That has not been proved.
"If it is eventually proved, and there has been a lot of searching around over videos and things like that here. Obviously, that would be very serious indeed.
"But he did use the word 'assault', when that hasn't been proven yet."
