Martin Lewis' warns Tesco Clubcard holders of 'last chance' to claim free cash

Martin Lewis has warned shoppers with Tesco Clubcards to act quickly if they wish to get a 'free boost' on their Clubcard points.

According to the MEN, the financial journalist warned those with Clubcards that they only have a short time left to save extra money.

"Now, do you do your Christmas shopping at Tesco? This is your last chance for a free boost," he explained on-air, during his namesake ITV show. "Basically the Clubcard Christmas Saver Scheme - you must top it up by next Wednesday."

Speaking on The Martin Lewis Money Show, he went on to explain: "What you do, you pay into it and it gives you vouchers to spend in store - but it adds six percent on top.

"So if you know you're going to be spending in Tesco for Christmas you may as well charge that up before next Wednesday and put £200 in and you'll have £212 and it's a little bit of a boost.

"Merry Christmas."

Also on the show, Martin Lewis issued a warning to everyone with car insurance.

He told people to consider switching their car insurers now as he said price changes were due to come in.

He revealed insurers could make a big change to the prices of policies "in a few weeks."
