Martin Lewis has warned as many as one million people across the country who are missing out on £3,000 and urged them to act by August 1.
The MoneySavingExpert.com founder and consumer champion regularly updates his subscribers via his weekly e-mail.
And this week, the MSE founder, who has his own ITV1 show The Martin Lewis Money Show, had a new warning for you, as Birmingham Live reports.
Martin, who is also seen on Lorraine, This Morning and Good Morning Britain some weekdays, told people of a pension age to check whether they are eligible for cash relief.
As many as one million are currently missing out on pensions credit, he said.
You could even bag a free TV licence, he added.
If you're over state pension age, live in the UK, and earn less than £173.75 a week as a single person or £265.20 a week as a couple, including pensions, savings and work, then you could be entitled to the money.
And Martin urged you to check before August 1, when the free TV licence ends for some over-75s.
If you are eligible, you could take advantage of even more savings, with freebies in the form of TV licences, money off gas bills, free dental care and a £140 warm home discount to cover their winter bills.
The scheme requires you to apply for it, though, and means you will be assessed by the government.
He warned: "From August, free TV licences for over-75s will only be available to households where someone gets Pension Credit.
"But more than a million of society's poorest families miss out on the benefit despite being eligible."
