Martin Lewis has shared a simple way that you can save money at local restaurants and takeaways.
The MoneySavingExpert said people can get £5 off at a range of local food outlets simply by buying a packet of crisps.
He shared the handy tip on ITV's The Martin Lewis Money Show this week, the Express reports.

Martin explained: “If you buy a £1 bag of these Walkers Taste Icons crisps, then there's a QR code on the back that you can go online and it gives you £5 off when you spend £20 or more at local restaurants and takeaways.
“You can redeem on food or soft drinks so it's a good way to support your local food emporium.”
The new 'Walkers Taste Icons' crisps have been inspired by restaurants favourites such as Madras Curry, Thai Green Curry, Fish and Chips and Chicken Burrito.
The vouchers apply to 3,000 different restaurants, giving people plenty of options to choose from.
Walkers’ is aiming to help crisp lovers give back and support their favourite local eateries which have played a vital role during the pandemic.
Katherine Cook from Walkers said: “Over the past 18 months, we have seen that, no matter what, local restaurants have been there for us as a nation.
“This year, Walkers is supporting and celebrating local restaurants by re-creating the flavours of the delicious dishes of four, much-loved local restaurants on our crisps and telling their iconic stories on our packs.
“We have also enlisted thousands of restaurants across the nation to participate in the offer to drive footfall to local restaurants (within five miles of every diner).

To claim the handy discount, shoppers need to buy a pack, go to www.walkers.co.uk/local and select a participating local restaurant near them. They will then receive a QR voucher for dining.
Shoppers are warned the promotion is only valid until February 15, 2022 and can only be applied to soft drinks and food, not alcohol.
