Money Saving Expert founder Martin Lewis has shared an alternative Valentine's Day gift idea that could save you cash.
The financial guru appeared on Good Morning Britain today to share his weekly money saving tips, and on the agenda was Valentine's Day.
Talking to Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway, Martin provided viewers with a gift idea that your partner will no doubt appreciate but won't break the bank.

After confessing that he thinks Valentine's Day is nothing more than an "over-commercialised day with peer pressure to be romantic," Martin shared his free and alternative gift idea with viewers.
He said: "If you haven't got the money and you don't want to get into the commercialised section, then there are Valentine's gift cheques that you print online.
"So this is where you get a nice gift cheque and you give something of your time. It might be that you promise a foot rub. It might be that you promise to do the babysitting so you can go out with your friends.
"It might be that you them them that special massage that your partner really loves and enjoys.
"So give them a gift cheque, you don't have to spend any money and that is a present that will probably be more appreciated than going out and spending money on something trivial that won't last because you feel like you're forced or obligated to do so."
So, printing out a gift cheque promising to do the dishes for a week could go a long way this Valentine's Day, and it wouldn't cost you a thing.
