Martin Lewis reveals the 'lost pension' hack that could be worth thousands

Martin Lewis used his 100th show on ITV tonight (Thursday) to unleash his usual show packed with tips and tricks for money saving fans everywhere.

But for those who plan on reaching the ripe of age of the programme - or close - he had some special news.

The budget guru revealed a tip on tracing lost pensions that could be worth thousands to individual savers.

A viewer asked: "Is there any way to find lost pensions that may have been done in the past but have no paperwork?"

Martin's tip was to use the Government's free Pension Tracing Service to try and track down any errant savings which you may have.

You simply put in your old employer's details and it will tell you who to contact to find out if you have a pension.

Martin says: "It's worth doing, because... there are people who have lost track of pensions which are worth tens or even hundreds of thousands of pounds."

The Money Saving Expert Reclaim Forgotten Cash guide contains information on more ways to hack that old cash.

  • The Martin Lewis Money Show Live is on ITV every Thursday at 8.30pm
