Martin Lewis has issued a warning to PayPal customers as money could be taken from your account if you don't log in.
The warning comes after the payments firm brought in a new policy which will deduct funds automatically unless you log in often enough.
"Paypal users warning. It is going to introduce a £12 inactivity fee," Martin Tweeted.
The good news is that you should be able to get around the charge - as long as you're aware of it.
Martin pointed to a guide his team has put together on MoneySavingExpert.com explaining exactly how it all works.
PayPal users will be charged a £12 fee from 16 December 2020 if their accounts have been inactive for at least 12 months in a row.
By "inactive", PayPal means accounts where the owner hasn't logged in or sent, received or withdrawn money.
If there's less than £12 in your account PayPal will simply zero it.

If you don't have any money in your PayPal account, or your balance is negative, you won't be charged.
PayPal said it would warn inactive users about the fee 60 days, 30 days and then seven days before they are charged.
To beat the charge you need to log into your PayPal account or make a transaction on or before 15 December 2020.
If you're not using your PayPal account and don't want to risk being charged, you can close the account by going to "Settings" and selecting "Close your account" at the bottom of the "Account" menu.
You could also simply transfer any money you have there to another account so the balance reads as £0.
