Martin Lewis’ MSE website shares ‘hidden’ Amazon page with extra discounts

Martin Lewis’ MoneySavingExpert website has flagged a “hidden” Amazon website that is currently offering an extra 30% off.

Amazon Warehouse sells returned or slightly damaged goods at discounted prices, allowing you to purchase items cheaper than normal.

You'll get an idea of an item's condition before buying - so whether it is "like new" or "acceptable" - so you have a rough idea of why it has been discounted.

But if you’re still slightly wary, you can return any item within 30 days.

As an added incentive, shoppers can currently get an extra 30% off selected products at Amazon Warehouse until 11.59pm on March 21.

When we checked today, we found a NutriBullet reduced further from £79.05 to £55.33.

We also spotted a Melitta coffee machine reduced from £504.84 to £353.39.

The reductions aren’t always obvious - in most cases, you’ll need to add the item to your basket then go to checkout to see how much money you’ve saved.

Explaining the extra discounts, the MSE team wrote in their latest weekly email: “Amazon Warehouse sells returned or slightly-damaged items at knockdown prices, and now there's 30% more off.”

Other ways to save money at Amazon

Amazon also has a little-known page called Amazon Renewed where it sells "as new" refurbished goods.

It stocks previously owned items that have been tested and brought back to life - and these products even come with a separate one-year warranty.

You can shop by category - for example, there are sections for smartphones, laptops, cameras and homeware.

Did you know Amazon also has its own Outlet page?

This is where thousands of overstocked items are sold off at discounted prices - for example, if a retailer wasn't able to shift everything after Christmas.

Discounts offered can be 50% off or more. Again, you can also shop by department to help you find what you're looking for.

Always compare Amazon prices to make sure you're really getting the best deal and not overpaying.

CamelCamelCamel is a website dedicated to tracking Amazon prices.

It shows you historic pricing data so you can see when the item you're after was at its lowest.

Other comparison sites that are handy to check include PriceSpy and PriceRunner.

To help you save further, Amazon has a specific voucher page that lists discounts for products.

If you spot a voucher that is applicable to a purchase you want to make, you need to click on it to save the discount.
