Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis has issued a warning to anybody with a passport that is due to expire.
Speaking on This Morning, Martin explained how third-party websites are charging people to process their passport application and that we should instead be going directly to the UK Government's website to avoid additional fees.

Speaking on ITV This Morning last week, Martin said: “What happens is on search engines, at the top, you will see something and it will say 'ad'.
“But we do not notice the ad because certainly Google has changed over the years. In the past, it would scream at your 'advert! advert! advert!'.
“Now it goes..." before mimicking ducking his head.
He continued: "Now you don't know it is an advert. So what these companies do, is they charge you for processing something you can do for free."
The warning from Martin comes as Brits planning holidays abroad this summer are being urged to check their passports.
These third-party web pages typically mimic genuine organisations so that customers don’t realise it is a completely different website.
You can apply for a new passport yourself for free through the Gov.uk website - meaning you don’t need to pay a third-party website to process the application for you.
