Martin Lewis issues important message to all Asda shoppers with kids

Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis has issued some golden advice to any parents shopping at Asda this month.

The finance journalist says mums and dads can treat their kids to a meal in Asda cafes in December completely free of charge.

According to Martin, all of Asda's 216 cafes are taking part, and kids under the age of 16 can eat free every day in December (apart from Christmas day and Boxing day when stores are closed).

He Martin tweeted the news over the weekend, writing: "Totally free £2.50 meal for kids."

There's no minimum spend so it is indeed a completely free meal, but children must be accompanied by an adult.

The adult or child does not need to buy a meal or spend anything in store to qualify for the offer.

The offer is available any time during your local cafe's opening hours, reports Kent Live.

However there is a maximum limit of one meal per child per day.

Martin Lewis says people should stock up on stamps before big price rise

That being said there good news for big families as there is no limit to how many children you can bring along for a free meal.

The menu includes dishes such as fish fingers and chicken nuggets. All dishes are served with a drink and piece of fruit.

Meals on offer include both hot and cold meals which would normally cost £2.40 and £2.60 respectively.
