Martin Lewis has revealed his top tips to help people get out of debt quickly.
The Money Saving Expert's Money Show concentrated on the issue of debt tonight, with Martin sharing his wisdom with viewers.
Martin spoke about balance transfers, loans and overdrafts and promised people there was a way out of debt.
Martin said: "It isn't what you do, it's how you do it.
"The first thing you need to do is list all your debts in order of APR and concentrate on repaying the highest interest debt first, not the biggest debt.
"If you're overdrawn shift your direct debts to just before payday so you're not in your overdraft for as long.
"Use any of your savings to clear costly debts, put any money you can towards clearing your debt.
"And don't be embarrassed about telling people if you're struggling with money, we need to talk about money more openly and don't feel bad telling anyone you can't spend money on certain things."
Martin also outlined how people could get help if they were suffering financially because of coronavirus.
He said: "If you're struggling due to covid payment holidays are still available.
