Martin Lewis fans worry about his health during 'under the weather' performance on ITV Money Show

Martin Lewis left viewers concerned during his appearance on his show last night as some feared he may be suffering from coronavirus.

Prior to hosting The Martin Lewis Money Show on Thursday night he posted a tweet to his followers saying he was feeling unwell.

The financial guru was met with worry from fans that he may have contracted COVID-19, and the 48-year-old said he was concerned too.

However, he insisted he was fairly sure it wasn't, explaining that his symptoms were not the same as the typically common ones in people suffering from the disease.

His tweet read: "The problem with having your own live TV show, is when you're feeling under the weather as I am right now (nauseous and weak) show must go on.

"Let's hope Dr. Showbiz helps. At least I'm doing it from home so I can go to bed straight afterwards."

Kicking off the ITV show, he told co-host Angelica that he was alright, but that he was feeling "little bit under the weather, a bit nauseous, but I've got make up on to cover the green!"

But despite this, many of his followers were still left with concern, as one tweeted back to him : "It's not the virus i hope".

Martin replied back to this tweet, saying: "I hope not too, but I have no fever, no cough and still have my sense of taste, so thankfully I think it's unlikely".

Another fan responded: "Urgently test in case. This is the problem most people aren’t that seriously ill. More symptoms can come on later."

"Overworked, you haven't stopped. Plus you're exercising more." A third commented.

"As a non qualified person, who doesn't know you, I think you're overdoing it. You can't save us all, no matter how hard you try. Look after yourself x".

Someone else put: "There are many other symptoms, cough, temperature and lack of taste and smell are just the main ones."

While presenting his live show, Martin appeared to be in good spirits and wasn't visibly suffering with coronavirus symptoms - including no coughing.
