Martin Lewis explains the latest Tesco Clubcard changes coming in within weeks

Martin Lewis has shared imminent changes to the Tesco Clubcard points which could affect thousands of customers.

The supermarket chain is ending its partnership with Now TV, which means shoppers will not be able to get vouchers to watch their favourite films anymore.

Currently, Tesco customers can spend their Clubcard points on Now TV credit with it tripling in value.

For example, if a customer has 50p worth of points, it will become £1.50 in Now TV credit, Kent Live reports.

But starting from January 31, the deal will not be available anymore and shoppers will not be able to exchange their Clubcard points for Now TV credit.

However, if customers already had some credit, that will still be valid until the expiration date supplied in the e-mail sent when exchanged.

Another promotion available through Tesco Clubcard is getting triple value with Cineworld, but at the moment these cinemas are closed.

Shoppers can also make the most of magazine subscriptions and railcards thanks to the loyalty card.

A statement on the Tesco website reads: "Unfortunately, NOW TV will leave the Clubcard scheme on 31 January 2021.

"You will be able to exchange your Clubcard vouchers until this date and any vouchers you receive must be redeemed before the expiry date included in your latest email."

Any customer wanting to use the promotion needs to do it as soon as possible as vouchers must be redeemed soon.

When using their Clubcard, customers receive one point for every £1 spent in stores or online and one point for every £2 spent on fuel from Tesco.

Points are added to the Clubcard account and 150 points is equal to £1.50.

The points can then be exchanged for vouchers to be spent in Tesco stores or towards discounts on meals out and day trips.
