Martin Lewis was back on STV answering the public's money questions.
While he answered questions about the energy "loan not loan", the financial guru also spoke about the £150 council tax rebate.

However, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland were in charge of their own decision on that matter.
This comes as the UK is facing a cost of living crisis as energy bills are expected to rise an extra £693 (on average) a year.
On The Martin Lewis Money Show Live on ITV/STV, the host explained who will be getting the rebate as the Scottish Government announced it will also be replicating the policy.
Finance Secretary Kate Forbes said the cash would go to households in council tax bands A to D and all of those eligible for a council tax reduction.
As the Mirror reports that means around 1.85 million households - 73 percent of the total - will receive £150 of support when those elements are combined.
“Today we heard Scotland will be mirroring the England pledge, although Northern Ireland is yet to say whether it will also participate," the consumer expert said.
Mr Lewis also confirmed that the discount will apply before any reductions such as the 25 percent single person’s concession is applied.
That means you will still benefit from any council tax discounts you are entitled to.
An extra £10 million is also to be targeted at people struggling with fuel bills.
Local authorities will decide whether to delivering the £150 council tax rebate as a direct cash payment or as a credit to council tax accounts.
This is set to be available from April.
