Martin Lewis has explained how to claim the £150 council rebate, as well as clarifying who can get it.
Households in England, which are in council tax bands A-D, will receive a £150 rebate.
The rebate to bills will be made directly by local authorities from April.

The Chancellor expects this one-off payment to benefit around 80 per cent of all homes in England.
If you are unsure of your council band, you can find out which one your home comes under here.
And on tonight's Martin Lewis Money Show, the finance expert clarified and updated viewers on the rebate.
One viewer had asked Martin how to claim the £150 rebate.
Martin said: "If you are in council tax A to D in England you should get this automatically on April 1.
"I haven't seen the dotted i's and crossed t's of the exact details yet because they've not published it, but it will be automatic.
"Also today we heard because each of the other UK government's have had money to fund it but the Scottish government will be mirroring the system if you are in band A to D you'll get £150 on April 1.
"We don't yet know about Northern Ireland or Wales."
A second viewer then asked Martin: "When the council tax rebate is applied, will it be before or after any single person's discount currently at 25%."
Martin said: "It doesn't actually matter, you get a flat £150 whatever your bill is, so that's irrelevant in a good way."
