Martin Lewis confuses everyone with Twitter post that's leaving people 'feeling sick'

Money-saving guru Martin Lewis is usually one to relieve our headaches by making sense of all the complicated jargon that comes with complicated things like mortgages and contracts.

He's become hugely popular on social media by sharing his top tips, answering questions and running polls to help us all feel like we aren't the only ones struggling to make head and tail of it all.

But his latest post on Twitter has instead left everyone scratching their heads - with one saying it left her feeling sick and suffering from an 'awful headache', as reported by Manchester Evening News .

Martin shared a post showing 12 balls sitting behind green, red and blue stripes, and it's just as confusing as that dress which was definitely white and gold.

The picture was originally tweeted with the caption: "All the balls are the same color — and that color is *brown*!""

The balls appear to different colours at first glance (NovickProf/Twitter)

It was originally created by a university professor called David Novick and Martin said: "I'm totally amazed by this - I keep zooming in to see it. Superb design."

It didn't take long to blow other people's minds as well, with one replying: "I'm seeing green, purple and brown...or do I need my meds changing?"

A second wrote: "What is this sorcery?"

A third person said: "That's it. I'll not get any more work done this afternoon..."

And one simply asked: "Can it save me money?"

It's not the first time an illusion has left people baffled on the internet this week after a man showed off the bizarre effect of his Apple Mac keyboard - but only some people can see it.

Posting a photo to Reddit, it was captioned: "This laptop I just got has an optical illusion."

As you look around keyboard, some people see grey circles appear between the keys - known as the Hermann Grid Illusion.
