Martin Lewis has once again proved he’s a clever clogs this Christmas.
He’s renowned for coming up with money-saving tips and savvy consumer advice and his latest could be the best yet.
Martin, the founder of MoneySavingExpert.com, revealed a genius hack for saving yourself hundreds of pounds this Christmas.
The brilliant idea came as he was replying to a consumer question on Twitter.
Posting on the social media platform, one woman asked Martin for advice on what to do with her Boots points.
The woman, called Kelly Ellis, wrote: “Dilemma. I’ve got £31 of points on my @BootsUK club card. Do I save it for Christmas presents or do I just totally spend it on myself and get the #No7 advent calendar?? #decisions #FirstWorldProblems @MartinSLewis can you decide for me?”
Martin was quick to respond, writing: “Buy the advent calendar as it has £160 worth of stuff for £42 then rip it apart and use the contents to give as Christmas presents.”
Unfortunately, and, as many people have already pointed out, you can not use your points towards getting one of the no7 advent calendars.
