Martin Lewis and Susanna Reid told to 'grow up' by unimpressed GMB viewers

Martin Lewis and Susanna Reid were reunited on Monday as they hosted Good Morning Britain.

The money guru returned to his guest hosting role on the ITV news programme after Richard Madeley went off on an extended break last week.

But the pair left viewers unimpressed.

Susanna and Martin kickstarted the show by discussing the COP26 climate change conference in Glasgow.

Instead of the serious matters, however, the hosts got stuck into a story about US president Joe Biden reportedly broke wind "loudly" while making small talk with Camilla Parker Bowles.

Biden met the Duchess of Cornwall last week and sourced have claimed he audibly broke wind leaving Camilla "blushing."

Susanna and Martin were joined on the show to discuss the story by former How Clean is Your House host Aggie MacKenzie.

Aggie, 66, has retrained as a Yoga teacher and she said she encourages breaking wind in her classes.

As the chat continued, Martin declared that Susanna was going to demonstrate a yoga position their guest had mentioned.

But she declined and Martin hoisted his legs into the air instead.

"You lie on your back and you have both knees in and you interlace your fingers around your shins and pull your knees in," Aggie explained.

Martin was copying what she said while pointing his body at Susanna.

"It's not doing anything for me you'll be pleased to hear," he said but as he did loud noise was added in from producers.

Those watching GMB at home, however, were not impressed by the conversation.

One blasted: "Grow up, you idiots. Behaving like schoolkids."

"Can't believe this 'story' is getting air time #gmb," another complained.

A third added: "Does anybody else think that the discussion about President Biden “farting” ridiculously childish. Giggling fools? #GMB."

"Surely @GMB have got more important things to talk about than Joe Biden farting!"
