Even though he wasn’t playing last night, LeBron James still had to show off some of his newest fire signature shoe during Friday night’s Lakers win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night.
LeBron debuted the new ‘Martin’ LeBron 16s, inspired by the iconic 90’s sitcom starring Martin Lawrence. If you watch LeBron’s Instagram stories, you can find him watching Martin fairly often. But perhaps the coolest thing about it was seeing Martin Lawrence get a pair and open them for himself.
Lawrence was clearly honored by James’ choice to honor him and name a shoe after him. Also, for James it was clearly an honor as well as he says he’s never laughed harder than when watching Martin.
