Martin Keown names the two Arsenal players that have been the inspiration vs Eintracht Frankfurt

Arsenal legend Martin Keown has identified two members of Unai Emery's squad that provided the inspiration on a difficult night against Eintracht Frankfurt.

In front of a subdued Emirates Stadium, the Gunners struggled to find a foothold in their penultimate Europa League group-stage match and were in need of a boost.

That came shortly before the interval with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang maintaining his fine scoring record against the scoring opponents but the involvement of two other individuals in the build-up.

Keown highlighted how impressed he was with Joe Willock and Bukayo Saka in the match, praising the young duo for their displays on the continental stage.

“It’s been a difficult night but there is no substitute for class and Aubameyang, he oozes clash. Saka and Willock, actually, have been the inspiration of the evening, the two of them,” he told BT Sport.

“One shot, one goal. They’d be in even more trouble without him! It’s been a difficult night for Arsenal and they experimented a little bit with David Luiz.”

Victory for Arsenal would seal their spot in the knockout stages of the competition, as Emery's side look to go one better than they did last season after losing in the final to Chelsea.
