Tottenham put defeat to Manchester United in midweek behind them to produce a stunning five-star display against Burnley on Saturday.
Five goals - one a contender for goal of the season from Son Heung-min - and a clean sheet made it the perfect afternoon at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
And with Chelsea losing to Everton, it meant Spurs moved back to within six points of the Champions League places.
A number of players have been given a new lease of life under Jose Mourinho since the Portuguese replaced Mauricio Pochettino at the helm, namely Dele Alli, who has scored three goals in five appearances since the new boss arrived in N17.
But he is not the only one.
And while Alli's performances have earned praise from all quarters, with many expecting an England recall, there was another player on Saturday who Arsenal legend Martin Keown felt was 'perfect' for Mourinho.
Speaking on Match of the Day, Keown said: "You have to credit Mourinho. It looks as if Harry Kane played slightly deeper, Son and Dele Alli had more touches in the opposition box than he did, but it doesn’t seem to matter because he’s got his runners around him.
"He’s perfect for Mourinho because he wants a striker who can finish when he gets the chances."
Kane scored two crackers at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but he joked afterwards that Son had "stolen my thunder" with a strike after running almost the entire length of the pitch.
That goal was analysed from all angles by the Match of the Day crew.
Keown will have been speaking through gritted teeth after waxing lyrical about Spurs.
He added: "Son was magnificent, as we know, he’s so direct. Really, it could have been seven or eight to be honest, they were magnificent throughout. Sissoko is ever improving. They were on fire today."
