Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown has said that he believes that Unai Emery will be given more time at Arsenal - as there is no one to take over.
Emery is under increasing pressure at the Emirates, with fans making their feelings clear during the 2-1 Europa League loss to Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday.
Some fans held posters calling for the head coach to be sacked, while the Emirates saw one of its lowest ever attendances with supporters deciding to stay away.
The defeat was Arsenal's seventh in all competitions without a win, their worst run since 1992 - 27 years ago.
However, despite the unrest among the fan base, Keown still believes that Emery will be given time to turn things around.
“I sincerely hope not," he told BT Sport when asked if this weekend's game could be Emery's final on in charge of Arsenal.
"I genuinely hope that this manager can turn it around. I think he is a good man who has lost his way.
"I think he will get the time because I don’t think there is a ready-made replacement for him at the moment and the club won’t want to be seen to panic.”
Names linked to the role in recent weeks include Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo, former captain Mikel Arteta and ex Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.
