Martin Keown has compared Leeds United to a washing machine after their win over Aston Villa.
While, at first, it seems a bizarre analogy, Keown's reasoning actually seems to make sense.
The former Arsenal defender was talking on Football Focus and argued the Whites' fitness, thanks to Marcelo Bielsa's punishing training methods, is enough to panic opposition players.
Pointing to the versatility of players such as Stuart Dallas, Keown said the way Leeds are able to interchange positions across the pitch makes it difficult for opposition sides to keep track of who they should be marking.
"You look at, let's say Dallas for instance," he explained. "He's a journeyman, I've seen him play left-back, centre-midfield and he was right-back on Friday.
"The message he's got, he picks everything up and the energy they play at. They talk about the training sessions they do, they call it murderball, the ball doesn't go out of play.
"The energy, everyone's got to engage, touch people and make things happen. Just running around the pitch, it does create so much confusion that, in the end, I think it makes players panic.
"It's almost like being in a washing machine, there are players everywhere and they keep changing the numbers."
The Whites ran out 3-0 winners over an Aston Villa side that were previously the only Premier League side to still have a 100 per cent record this season.
Patrick Bamford's hat-trick was enough to give Leeds a victory that took them to 10 points from six matches.
Next up, Leeds face Leicester City on November 2.
