Martin Keown explains why Arsenal performances make him want to 'hide behind sofa'

Arsenal have displayed dominant home form this season but struggled to replicate their performances on their travels.

They head to Watford tonight (Monday) having won just five of 15 Premier League games on their travels - something which could cost them a top four place.

Gunners legend Martin Keown admits their performances away from the Emirates have left him wanting to "hid behind the sofa" at times.

Their Watford showdown is one of four remaining away fixtures and Keown knows they will need to improve if they are to secure a return to Champions League football.

He told the Daily Mail : "Unai Emery's Arsenal look capable of beating anyone at home. Away from the Emirates, their performances make me want to hide behind the sofa.

"While his team are nine points better off than they were under Arsene Wenger this time last season, Emery has not yet found a way for Arsenal to be successful on the road.

"If they are to achieve their twin goals of finishing in the top four and winning the Europa League, they will have to cure their travel sickness quickly."
