Martin Dubravka on his 'half-a-second' react time after super show for Newcastle United

Martin Dubravka has reflected on Newcastle United's 1-1 draw against Wolves.

The Slovakia international pulled off some incredible saves to keep the European-chasing Molineux side at bay.

Notably, he kept out Leander Dendonker and then Pedro Neto in the second half to help United pick up a creditable draw.

He said: "I only had half a second to react. I'm happy to help the players today.

"If we can take one point at least, these kind of saves are a bonus for me."

Newcastle had taken the lead through Miguel Almiron, and Dubravka said: "We started very well, scored a good goal and tried to keep the ball.

"Unfortunately, we conceded a goal from a set-piece, so we have to work on that for our next game."

But the game came at a cost for Newcastle as Dwight Gayle and Paul Dummett limped off injured

Dubravka said: “Hopefully the injuries aren’t bad ones and they can be ready for next game.”
